Moby Parsons, M.D.

Dr. Parsons specializes in orthopedic problems of the knee, hip and shoulder including primary and revision joint replacement procedures, arthroscopy and fracture care. He was the first person in the state to perform a reverse shoulder replacement and has extensive experience in treating complex problems and failed prior procedures. Dr. Parsons is one of the nation’s most experienced surgeons in joint implant procedures including use of fully customized ConforMIS implants in total and partial knee replacement.

Dr. Parsons received his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh, and went on to acquire specialty shoulder and elbow surgery training at the University of Washington in Seattle and the University of Sydney in Australia. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
